What is Sugaring?

Sugaring is a natural hair removal method that uses the cleanest ingredients in hair removal. This warm, pliable substance is applied to the skin against the direction of hair growth and then swiftly removed in the opposite direction, effectively pulling hair from the root. The results are smooth, hair-free skin that can last several weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. (There are 3)

One of the many benefits of sugaring is its gentle nature, making it suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin. The ingredients are all-natural and free from harmful chemicals, ensuring a more organic approach to hair removal. Additionally, the process is less painful than traditional waxing, as the paste only adheres to hair rather than the skin.

Sugaring can be performed on multiple areas of the body, including legs, arms, underarms, and even the bikini area. It can lead to finer and sparser hair regrowth over time with regular treatments, contributing to an even smoother appearance. Experience the refreshing feel of sugaring for yourself, and enjoy the delightful benefits of beautifully soft skin!

Q- Do I need to make an appointment?

A- Yes. I am by appointment only.

Q- Can I bring a guest/kids?

A- No. This is not something you can have guests or kids for. If it is a friend who is also getting a service, this is the only exception and only with both of you and myself consenting and being comfortable.

Q- What should I wear after?

A- I suggest soft comfortable clothing. If it is an intimate area, breathable cotton is best. You can even skip the underwear.

Q- How long will it take?

A- That depends on how many areas we are covering, and how much hair there is. It’s very individualized and I refuse to rush. <3

Q- What can I do to make sure my results are as good as possible?

A- This is a GOODIE! Because what you do, DOES make a difference. You need to be exfoliating prior to your appointment. But no closer that 24 hours. I need you to by hydrated. This helps the hair come out clean and not break.

Q- How long does it last?

A- Typically 3-4 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows when removed from the root.

Please Note: Your hair grows in 3 cycles. So if you have hairs popping up a day or 2 later, they were likely under the skin at the time of your appointment. Because of this it is important to continue your maintenance no more than 4 weeks apart for best results. We want to get all of the hair on the same cycle so you can have the smoothest, longest results possible.

FAQ

Q- Does it hurt?

A- No matter how you do it, pulling hair from the root does not tickle. But in my opinion, as well as serval of my clients, it is LESS that waxing, and you skin calms down much quicker.

Q- How can I make sure it hurts as little as possible?

A- Avoid caffeine before your appointment. Exfoliate, but no closer than 24 hours to your appointment. Make sure you are hydrated as this help the hair come out easier. Schedule atleast a week prior to, or after your cycle. And, make sure your hair is no longer than a grain of rice. If it is long it will tug and pull and it is very uncomfortable. I can trim if necessary.

Q- I’m a littler nervous. What if there is something left behind ‘down there’.

A- I have cleansing wipes available for every client. If I feel you need medical attention you will be advised to see your Dr and be invited to re-book after you’ve your physician.
